This page is for the York District Metal-detector Club2003 has produced over 2½ thousand finds, covering nearly 100,000 sq metres. The haul included 41% ferrous material. 2004 plans will attempt to cover the 95% of the site we have still to examine. To achieve this we will concentrate on non-ferrous items while we await the results of the analysis of the 1600 ferrous finds. 2005 very limited work possible because of restrictions imposed by the developers.
