This page is for the York District Metal-detector Club

2003 has produced over 2½ thousand finds, covering nearly 100,000 sq metres. The haul included 41% ferrous material.

2004 plans will attempt to cover the 95% of the site we have still to examine. To achieve this we will concentrate on non-ferrous items while we await the results of the analysis of the 1600 ferrous finds.

2005 very limited work possible because of restrictions imposed by the developers. The Finds total stands at over 6,000

And the work continued until 2007.
